Brian Rybarczyk Memorial 5K Run/Walk
Saturday August 16th, 2008 at 9am
On August 22, 2004, my husband, Brian William Rybarczyk
of Clarence Center, NY, died unexpectedly from the
rapid onset of Angiosarcoma - a rare type of cancer
that begins in the lining of blood vessels. He was only
35 years old, with so much life left to live for
himself, for me, and for our two sons.
As the fourth anniversary of Brian's death approaches, we want to accomplish two things. First, his family and friends need to gather again to celebrate his life and the wonderful memories that he left with each of us. Second, we want to hold an annual fund-raising event in his honor that promotes healthy living and continues to grow the Brian William Rybarczyk Memorial Research Fund. We have already raised enough to establish one grant for Sarcoma Research, and are working towards a second. With your help, we can do it!
Brennan's Bowery Bar has again graciously agreed to sponsor the 5K Race/Walk and Kids Fun Run on August 16, 2008. The race will end at Brennan's.
